Today is great because...
a. ...it's a Friday
b. ...we have new servers 🙌

18 March 2021 marks 15 years since we first publicly announced that we don't track the people using Mojeek 🙌🥂🎈🎉

Those retro colours are gone, that logo has morphed, but the policy still remains 😎

We're celebrating something tomorrow, can you guess what?

Protecting the digital rights of people in the UK including privacy and free speech online? Say no more

We're now completing the moving of servers into our new room and so you may have issues accessing Mojeek over the next few hours.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused - on the bright side this room has enough space to fit our new servers 😎

Happy Friday! We are once again enjoying a day of putting together the infrastructure that will help us build a bigger and better index.

As before, partial results will be available until this work is done. Please bear with us.

Today we are starting the first rack moves into our new room. Some servers will be down from now for most of the day.

Whilst they're down our results will be incomplete and a message will be shown explaining this.

Please bear with us, this move will help us to grow!

Works begins at the data centre on our expansion of servers in a new, and our own, room

We're currently focussing on how we can make Mojeek the best search engine it possibly can be, and in order to do this we need you! Over the coming months we will be conducting short interviews with as many people who have used Mojeek as possible.

No specialist knowledge is required; you can tell us you're interested via the form below.

Quotes from a long time ago that are pretty relevant now...

Search engine misinformation?

Feedback is always welcome and sometimes it's too good to not highlight:

"Obviously Mojeek, despite what it pretends, is controlled by google and other censors. They don't want the truth to come through. You want to play censorship, ok, I'll boycott you"

How about other search engines?

Your choice of search engine has a giant effect upon the information that you have access to.

This , we show you how to use Vivaldi (and some others) to pop your filter bubble: blog.mojeek.com/2020/11/poppin

“The country and government has seen the dangers of supporting overseas 5G technology. Another vulnerability exists in our dependence on search technology and services...”

The field of web search is changing. With growing attention over Google’s anti-competitive practices, and especially for Mojeek with Colin joining as CEO & big plans in place to battle the search giants.
