Can someone explain me something?
Is there any reason why a nonverbal autistic child is incapable of using sign language? I mean, what's the matter? Are there nonverbal autists who are incapable of learning/using sign language (while provided qualified classes)?
Also feel free to pinpoint sources. I just don't get it. The whole "but my child is nonverbal" bla gets me. Learn your child language or learn a language together.
Speaking is overrated.
