I made a custom display frame for my Windows 95 Internet Explorer 4.0 installation disc recently. Really ties the room together

@NETIZEN Wow. You make me regrets throwing away a full stack of stuff like that a few months ago.

@arcans That disc only cost $12 if you still wanted to live the dream! A super affordable and very cybre DIY afternoon

@NETIZEN Yeah, I like your idea, but I am not going to pay that much for it. 😁

@arcans @NETIZEN I mean you might have to given they've installed the top-of-the-line copy protection that is writing "do not make illegal copies of this disc" right there on the disk where all the pirates are bound to see it.

@saper It only now occurs to me that I should have just bought a CD caddy lmfao

@NETIZEN Did you know? It's often called Windows 95c. It's the worst one, but there's a small number of programs that require it for some reason.

@NETIZEN One of my prized Installation CDs is when they tried to create a Star Trek themed ISP, startrek.net, and they sent me a disk. I still have it, original shrink wrap.

@NETIZEN

Forget the gold discs, they must send one out on the next interstellar probe. Though if the aliens ever install it they might decide genocide is too good for us. 🤔
