I think it convinces the spotify servers that you do actually have premium, then does everything else legitimately. Most of the app is exactly the same. So it probably does affect the metrics and royalties, yeah
@socalledunitedstates @Nelu69 I think that the way those apps work is that they have both spotify with an adblock app installed together so that you can just skip the ads. That's why ublock works in browser with the same function because it basically skips the ads.
