Please check on your neighbors to see if they’re OK and have enough resources to make it through this. It’s sometimes hard to know when someone is overheated or maybe they’re too embarrassed to tell you, but do check anyway
If they’re elderly or infirm or if they have young children, they’re especially at high risk
@cypnk Pretty much the same here in Ottawa, minus maybe a degree at most. Forecast has us in the mid-30s (plus humidity, and Ottawa's a humid city) right through Thursday at least.
@squeakycheetah @cypnk It's fine for me, I've got air conditioning and a deadline that's gonna keep me chained to my desk for a couple of days. But still, I was planning to go out and run errands while it's still 35C. Not much choice about that one.
@Nezchan @cypnk Same thing in the UK, but with about 10 degress less. Still pretty dangerous. Make sure you have enough liquids to get through, and make sure everyone around you does the same.
