I’ve always loved the special art of colorization of old historical photos. I especially love this one. This is the Tuskegee Airmen…they were the first African American pilots and pioneers who blazed a trail through the war-torn skies over Europe. They are part of our history that cannot be rewritten, forgotten or erased by anyone…
yes but also two things stand out too me:
the red of the airplane-nose is way to intense against the rest of the still very muted colored photo
and why did they use THE comic-vomit-color for those jackets.
