"Now, on a day like 29 October, the pair of Proba-3 spacecraft is a reality, having passed the ground tests required of them before being sent into space. So Diego Rodríguez is happy and content ahead of their launch into orbit from India, the date of which is just around the corner, with the launch scheduled for the first days of December."

(Contd.) Might be something extra on PS4 payload deck. Nothing in press-kit about it but this space is reserved for small rideshares and can be used to host small non-separable payloads as well. Let's see if we get any details.

@Ohsin Didn't know that it's going to be launched by PSLV, interesting!

@BugWarp Earlier it was on Vega but I guess due to LV issues had to shift.

@Ohsin My mum tied a black string to my sideview mirror. It seemed to work fine for many years, until my car suddenly died on the freeway, during the morning peak, when I was 38 weeks pregnant. LOL.

@Ohsin facepalm-ing to hide my face because of the embarrassment

@mountdiscovery Yep, they are not fond of number 13 either and launch countdowns are started at auspicious Muhurt as well ..

@Ohsin @EricFielding hm, I can appreciate tradition — but the description reads as superstition. Oh well, good luck! 🤞

@jade_smith @Ohsin Here at JPL, people always eat peanuts before a spacecraft launch or landing or orbit insertion, unless they are allergic. It is a different fun superstition.

@EricFielding @Ohsin the lucky peanuts are a tradition, not superstition! 😉

I work at JPL, as well. I enjoy your posts here, as well as on Slack, Eric!
