To bargain is human.

Justice is subjective. In most cases it is revenge and in few very few cases it is a solution.

People wanted revenge. They wanted relief from this guilt and shame they were carrying in their hearts as a society. Revenge did not come from the court of law. What is criminal justice but revenge taken through a lengthy process? Perhaps it is something more. Who knows some rapists might be beating drums, celebrating?

Police has killed all four accused of Hyderabad rape and murder in an encounter.

"How's the flat you're living in in London, Jock?" asks his mother when he calls home to Aberdeen.

"It's okay," he replies, "But the woman next door keeps screaming and crying all night and the guy on the other side keeps banging his head on the wall."
