Just one of those annoying reminders that this is still available on @withFND@twitter.com
So do I read this correctly that on @email@example.com I could write my own smart contracts in Python? 😮
I love to collaborate with @firstname.lastname@example.org!
I just drew on top of a @email@example.com
“After her CalmWafer™ installation”
And why would you not do this?
- there are several other PoS based chains out there or in the making, so nobody knows right now which one will gain enough momentum
- there is no mature market out there yet, so when you buy this, you might not be able to flip it quickly
Now why would you do this?
- @firstname.lastname@example.org is based on proof-of-stake which means that the CO2 footprint of minting and bidding is way lower than that of proof-of-work
- transaction costs for bidding and minting are almost negligible - we are talking about cents here, not $100 a pop
Despite their being no #NFT marketplace yet on @email@example.com I just sold one piece from the first edition to @CitezenB@twitter.com
There are 6 left from this edition and to motivate you to go through the hoops of installing a new wallet and to obtain $XTZ the introductory price is just 50 tez.
So I just minted my first piece on the @firstname.lastname@example.org chain which supposedly is based on PoS. Looks like all of this is still in a very early stage and there is no marketplace yet, but let's try the "if you build it they will come" approach.
Maybe this explains why I am sometimes a bit of a grumpy old man waving at clouds and grumbling "been there done that"...
I used the filters I wrote to design Techno-Flyers which my way of making a living back then. (The right one was a learning experience when I found out that printing 4c with neon colors does not really work so well).
We even published a CD back then.
Ah well, too early, as usual.
Watching ETH right now is as painful as watching somebody who is about to sneeze but then doesn't. Come on, dip down already and let's get this over with.
Thank you very much for this very thoughtful analysis of my installation "Appropriate Response"!
some thoughts on @email@example.com's Appropriate Response at #colecciónsolo. #Art is essential to explore & navigate the explosion of new... beings? that AI brings to society.
Also known as the Elenfta in the room.
@SchoolOfMaaa@twitter.com There's at least one person on my timeline i really like and appreciate but I just never want to read about NFTs or cryptoart ever again.
In his comment on Joanie's post Gene expresses pretty exactly how I think about the current issues only much more elquently than I did. Definitely worth a read.
