2. Harassment mitigation - some block list / heuristic filter subscription model?

@Gargron Hey, thank you for your amazing work on Mastodon. I have set up a new instance, but no federation is happening on my instance. The social server can find my account, my server can find my profile on the social server. Nothing more. An idea?
Oh no, nevermind, Mastodon is already using WebSockets…
Sounds like the Social server is dying under 500 errors.
Moreover, the web client is using XHR polling, rather than WebSocket, it's shame :/.
