#OnionShare is a #FLOSS software by @micahflee that helps you share a file of any size securely and anonymously. It runs through Tor so you're even not giving away the metadata of your sharing process; everything stays between you and people you share your files with. It works on Linux, Mac and Windows.
@mastor With solutions like this you have to first trust the site where you're uploading your files to not be evil. I already used some other services from the guys running this site and I know they're great but I still wouldn't trust them with realy sensitive stuff. So I guess it depends of your threat model.
Also, you can't really compare OnionScan/TorBrowser to PGP. The first two just work, while PGP is a pain to set and use.

@micahflee @RedSec You're right.
It was 2 threads actually, no comparison:
Secure data transfer — »average« user feasibility
@mastor @micahflee Ah, I see..
@micahflee @RedSec I'd recommend https://framadrop.org as well – as
there are so many users who are not able
to set up Tor and definitely need low hurdles.
(Don't blame them for not being security experts.)
Have a look at this:

It took me more than 6 months to convince 20 friends
using Signal. And that's a success.
I know 0 »average« people who encrypt their emails.
