A bit and brace is pretty much a superpower: there is no power tool that can match the organic modulation and torque that an adult male can bring to bear on a stuck screw with a bit and brace.
Only the biggest electric drills are designed to allow application of body weight and trunk strength to keep the screwdriver tip in the screw, and even then they are not up to the task: my partner bent the arbor on a 3/4 Hp Porter-Cable drill with her weak hands and modest arm strength.
@seachanged my family loves exercises like this. Craftsmanship existed before power tools. One only need ask how it was once done.
@SYPerelandra I especially like two speed hand-drills. The Grinder is pretty good. Brace and bit are always handy to have.
