One less social media account to worry about.

Going to work on our Linux Game Jam 2022 entry over at cast.samsai.eu/. Need to make a quick particle system at the very least, plus probably other things too.

Your regular Sunless Skies stream will be starting at cast.samsai.eu/ in about 15 minutes. Lots of ports to travel to and many prospects to complete. And probably some eldritch sky horrors to meet along the way. See you in the chat!

Hello. I'll be playing some Linux games over at cast.samsai.eu/ in about 15 minutes. Tonight's menu consists of some Itch.io games: "Hyperspace Dogfights" and "Planet Diver". Then we'll start a playthrough of Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion. See you in the chat!

I cannot open a support request about my account being lost because Steam insists my account does not exist. Just great.

Either Steam is having a very interesting technical issue or they just fucking spaced my entire Steam account.

So, I try to open Steam and it gives me an error about network connectivity. Ordinary stuff, so I go into steamcommunity.com and see if I can log in there. Gives an error about incorrect username or password. I manually navigate to my Steam profile and I get this:

Going to be doing some coding at cast.samsai.eu/. Plan is to my my game dev project from ggez.rs to SDL2 for input and rendering because of certain missing features. We'll see how well that goes.

I'll be playing more Sunless Skies over at cast.samsai.eu/ in about 15 minutes. See you in the chat!

Owncast is a growing open source project that could use your help.

Specifically there's a lot of web UI (#React) that could use somebody who can focus on that. And as the project is nearing a couple years old now, it's becoming time to level-up the architecture of the backend (#Golang) to prepare for new features.

I'd love it if you could share this with your network of talented friends and colleagues to help kick off the next chapter of independent live streaming.

Just got done playing through Hedon Bloodrite. It was an absolutely fantastic experience. Really good arsenal, an interesting setting and levels that were well-designed and varied enough to stay interesting and fun for the about 30 hours of playtime. Easily worth the money.

Hello! I am going to be playing some Linux games over at cast.samsai.eu/ in about 10 minutes. Tonight's menu: "Shortest Trip to Earth" and "The Unholy Society". Then we'll try to wrap up Hedon Bloodrite. See you in the chat!

I guess we now know how low Moscow can sink: to the bottom of the Black Sea.

I have made an oopsie. I got curious about how one would come up with a usable workflow with Flatpak Emacs and Toolbox containers. So, I spent a few hours on finding a way to call things inside Toolboxes from Emacs. In the end I ended up writing a whole new vanilla Emacs configuration, because Doom doesn't like the Flatpak Emacs. Basically spent half of my workday just configuring Emacs...

Today's wonderful Linux discourse: if you ever run a Snap or Flatpak app then that will cause the world to turn into cloud gaming and also cause cats and dogs and frogs to rain from the skies.

Going to do a bit more coding on my game dev project over at cast.samsai.eu/. Last week I played with sprite sheets, so I might play with some particles this time. We'll see what we can accomplish.

Going to be a doing a bit of a dual stream with Liam from @gamingonlinux playing some War Thunder. My side will be available at cast.samsai.eu/ and Liam will obviously be streaming at twitch.tv/gamingonlinux. See you in the chat!

Hello! I am going to be playing some Linux games over at cast.samsai.eu/ in about 15 minutes. Tonight's menu consists of just Sunless Skies and Hedon Bloodrite. Might not have a chance for Sunless Skies tomorrow, so I'll play it today instead. See you in the chat!

I'm going to see if I can get some coding done on a game dev project of mine over at cast.samsai.eu/. Will need to catch up with my todo list to see where I left it off.
