I'm tired of this idea that if you run Linux you should be able to use the terminal and you must be a developer or hacker. My dad happily uses Linux and he barely knows how to turn on a computer. Some non-techy people just like privacy and freedom.
I'm all for #inclusion and #usability, but do you really think that he can be #free in our world without understanding how #software work?
I don't think that #Linux (or #BSD or #Plan9) should be reserved to #hackers, but as an #hacker I think #FreeSoftware should foster #curiosity, so that people become hackers that no one can manipulate.
This is enjoying #freedom, to me.
