To be honest the article was a angry reaction to the #user #manipulation.
I had literaly five minutes to write it down and medium was the fastest path.
But I was too upset with the total lack of #ethics on #developer's side, to do nothing.
I hope the article will be shared enough to make #InfoWorld and similar #corporates feel the income loss from such practices.
#GDPR is a good #law, but it's up to users to punish who try to workaround it.

btw. I don't think there's really much point hashtagging "user" and "manipulation" separately. From what I've seen, all ways of keeping track of a hashtag involve showing all posts containing _one_ specified hashtag. You can't filter for "# user" AND "# manipulation".
So I'd rather use "# usermanipulation" or just "# manipulation".
