Silicon Valley thinks we are in a moment of “anti-tech sentiment”
Loooool no we just finally woke up the masses to the San Francisco business model. Notice that nobody’s mad at Intel! Nobody’s complaining about how VLC killed a woman testing some machinery. Nobody thinks propaganda in Mint Linux tainted a presidential election. No buddy that’s an anti-corruption sentiment you’re catching. You have a corrupted business model.
Or at least an anti-marketing sentiment?

I'm #AdsAdverse: the more you try to #sell me something the less I'm going to #buy it.
And I'm teaching my daughters to do the same: at 9, my eldest is able to spot subtle #manipulations and turn them against the #author.
At times it's a bit difficult with teachers though, that are used to less critical children... I still have to make her understand that at times teachers deserve comprehension when they just try to survive to the lesson! :-)
