Guys, I'm not a man for #SocialNetworks!
I'm pretty surprised that I stick to the #fediverse so much!
(at times, I feel a bit addicted, and that's something I will address at some point, cause I value my #freedom a lot!)
Now, apparently people have feelings about my use of #hashtags.
I want to be a good #netizen, I usually #RTFM and used to know #netiquette quite well.
But I'm old.
Can you please explain me the new rules?
@Shamar I guess hashtags are a way that people can discover new people to follow, or for particular communities to find one another.
@Shamar People can find your toots through search if they contain relevant hashtags. Aside from that, they serve no other purpose.
