dishes washed, laundry folded, grass cut! Before and after pictures below!!!! now the parks and recreation victory is mine AHAHHAHAHHAA.
I don't care what people say Superman Returns is a fine movie. story was simple. Spacey was a good Luthor. Brandon Ruth was a good superman and was Hot in that film and continues to be Hot now as The Atom. Look, Brandon Ruth is generally hot ok. I would like to do things with Brandon Ruth, ok, OK?
So many characters per toot. so many characters. I'm struggling to know how best to fill this but I am incredibly compelled to...keep....filling....space in this........empty box. So much space. It just keeps going. like a long, unwinding road. A slow and unravelling cloth of blank i dont know what. muslin i think. muslin covered with a stream of consciousness. thanks for reading, I guess? Whoo boy. That Brecht, eh? He sure had a life.
Gosh Perd Hapley is such a good character, the whole Perd joke is masterful. I mean, gosh gosh gosh, it's so consistently hilarious and so delicately done. I can't get over it. So Good. Such an incredible joke.
So, tomorrow morning, I would like to achieve the following things: wash dishes, fold laundry, cut grass. It seems that when my parents say "we have a guy who cuts our grass" they mean no-one at all. And I have decided I can't have people round with this mess of a garden. On the plus side, there is a amazon firestick here and so I can watch all the parks and rec I want. AHAHAHA victory is mine. Thank you for reading this.
me, holding my phone: where is my phone?
me, looking at my phone in my hand: is it on the arm of the sofa? down the side? on the floor?
me, putting my phone down: maybe I left it in the kitchen...
Marisol's character pretty much just comes on screen to have a dramatic cut-away. she'll like open a bag and gasp, say something sardonic and then you won't see her again for the rest of the episode. and she's brilliant at it. Peter Bryant is damn good at doing the same, but with menace instead of being sardonic, as it turns out.
it's pretty good overall. The script isn't just melodrama, it's hyperdrama. the acting is coping really well with the script though. Cole Sprouse, Madchen Amick and Marisol Nicholls are especially good at being believable while also seven steps beyond ridiculous.
we have decided to watch Riverdale as our Once-Upon-A-Time melodrama revival material nonsense. so far, it's OK, but it could do with someone turning on the lights. apparently they've made it edgy by having everyone try to fuck Archie. we're 5 minutes in. Plus, Cole Sprouse is in it.
The nice thing about the sun suddenly coming out is that now everyone has decided to walk their dog. I have never seen so many dogs walking toward the park at once.
Yeah, gonna add another voice to the crowd of please use the CW button when talking politics or anything that might put folks on a downer.
The absolute joy of Mastodon for me is that it is not Twitter and I don't have to engage with this stuff thrown into my face. Makes everything here so much nicer and friendlier.
Ok #Introduction I'm a PhD student trying to adapt Philosophy of Language and Cognitive Science into the study of Theatre Audiences and other places it doesn't belong. I watch a lot of TV and Films and talking about them at length. That's most of what I do, probably. In fact, that's pretty much exclusively what I do. Should do a PhD in talking about Films and TV, haha.
I've basically recreated my Twitter profile, is that right? I've forgotten what making new accounts is like. I like that it's called tooting. I'm a big fan of this elephant theme. Great Stuff.
