I have taught my son that opening up the inspector on any webpage and adding "contenteditable" to the body tag allows him to freely type the word "butts" anywhere on that webpage and I have a strong suspicion that this knowledge will shortly spread to his entire school
@SpindleyQ oops sorry i just did this to your post and also as a result boosted it like 12 times lol
@SpindleyQ doing the devils work o7
@SpindleyQ I hope by the time my hypothetical future kids are around Inspect Element would still be Cool
@rum_and_tea I hope Inspect Element still exists
@SpindleyQ am a teacher of middle School boys, can confirm this is precisely the sort of thing that spreads through an entire school in short order. Congrats on helping your kid up his coolness factor x5000.
@SpindleyQ with great power...
Three of my four children are completely indifferent to my software engineering career. You might have just presented a solution to that problem to me.
@SpindleyQ doing god’s work
@SpindleyQ internet explorer used to have an "edit" button that would show you the HTML for that page and render the edited version when you hit save
little me was like "everyone's gonna see this after I save it, I should add helpful stuff"
@SpindleyQ congrats you just singlehandedly launched so many STEM careers
