@Stephen_Stone You can't cc-0 someone else's character... and Sanrio is very aggro about defending their designs.
@Spinner I put anything I do in the public domain, regardless of whether it is fan art. If Sanrio wants to slap a lawsuit on me for a silly pixel emojo I made in a half-hour and will likely never see use outside of Masto—or claim ownership of my fan art—that is its right. But I cannot imagine why Sanrio would care enough about my shit to do that.
