Hey so like, do Mastodon ppl know about Searx? It's a FOSS metasearch engine, which basically aggregates results from a bunch of other search engines. It emphasizes self-hosting, and contains no user tracking by default. I really appreciate it and it's been my default search engine for quite a while now

Don't forget to check your BBQ, gaz pipe and bottle for leaks and rust before turning it on after the winter!
protip: Put soapy water (like for bubbles) on the pipes. If it makes fizzy bubbles there's a leak, change the part before lighting anything.

Spent my afternoon trying to play with Mycroft AI but following the installation steps brought me into multiple states of failure that aren't explained anywhere and that I wasn't able to fix.
That's how you stop wondering why everyone is putting an Alexa in their projects and not something else, sadly.
