I killed my social media presence in 2015 as a developer with a conscience. I've always known how abusive those platforms are to their user base and how easy it was for a 3rd party to abuse that data for profit.

Mainstream social media (and media in general) is essentially in a destructive race to the bottom in terms respecting user privacy, user intelligence and any sense of integrity.

I'm having a hard time wanting to be a part of the internet community sometimes.

I'm coming out of hiatus for a few minutes to give yinz a heads up:

To my fellow photosensitive epileptic friends: DO NOT go see the Incredibles 2. Apparently, there's a lot of scenes with strobe lights -- and, from what I understand, one clocks in at about two minutes solid. At no point are there any warnings.

It's hard to believe that, in this day and age, stuff like this is still being made, and without warnings, at that. But here we are.

Anyway, that's all the information I have.
