She stood among the sunflowers, seemingly still but swaying with them; barely visible unless you happened to tilt your head a certain way.

She gazed with blazing eyes and a candied smile, curls waterfalling to her ankles, decorated with beads and pearls.

"Are you lost," I whispered, the day I spotted her.

"Are you?" she whispered back.

"I am," I admitted.

"Join me then."

Her hand was warm, her breath was sweet, and her arms were home.
