OK all Mastodon instance admins. What kind of bandwidth usage are you seeing... wanting to set this up on azure, but don't want to kill myself with bandwidth charges.

@TheGibson I think that was a combined traffic graph I was reading. I'd have to jump through my workstation upstairs to look at specific in/out numbers, and I really don't feel like that just at the moment ;-)

I'm thinking disk space will be more of an issue than bandwidth
@sungo Really outbound data transfer I'm concerned about. disk is relatively cheap, and I have a monthly credit.
What size VMs are others using, cores, storage, etc?
@sungo I dont know how many I am planning.... that is an excellent question... initially 50?
@TheGibson social.wxcafe has a stats bot posting metrics (memory usage, hdd, bandwith etc) - https://social.wxcafe.net/@server_status it's interleaved with user counts so you can see how resource usage changed with new subscriptions.
@mulander excellent... at those rates... I could cap at $30/ month, and expect about 600 users max...
