the plural of vertex is vertices, so the plural of regex must be... regices
@Trashbang I once got into a debate in college with some friends over what the plural of phoenix would be. It was between phoenixes and phoenices.
Eventually we settled on the fact that in classical antiquity, there was only one phoenix.
