Most useful thing I've discovered recently: if you need to transfer some text from #Linux to your phone, you can use https://github.com/gtanner/qrcode-terminal and "xclip -o | qrcode-terminal" to output the clipboard as a QR code, and then use the iphone/android camera app to snag it.

My local #Mailpile now knows how to start/stop/configure its own instance of Tor!

This is a big step towards making things Just Work on desktops (our installers will include the Tor binary).

This is also a big step towards making remote access to the UI over Tor, something people just click a button to enable.

And also a big step towards delivering e-mail directly (peer-to-peer) over Tor, but that's a little further in the future.

UbuntuTouch update. I've pretty much made my #Nexus5 phone running UT my daily driver as far as texting, calling, Mastodon, browsing, navigating and listening to podcasts goes. The single reason that I still carry my old phone is for the password safe. I'm working on getting my #Keepass file to my N5 and seeing if #Keepit can use it.
