#Tusky 9 is out!
Creating polls, improved search, always expand content warnings, and more!
Read the full changelog here: https://github.com/tuskyapp/Tusky/releases/tag/v9.0
We also have a more experimental "nightly" version that gets updated after each feature or bugfix we finish. It may contain untested code and quite a few bugs, use it at your own risk. It is a different app so it can be installed alongside stable #Tusky. Nightly is on Google Play https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.keylesspalace.tusky.test and there is a custom F-Droid for it https://releases.nailyk.fr/repo/
If you want to help testing #Tusky, there are two options for you:
Prior to every major release, we make a beta version available for a few days. It contains all changes for the release and should already be quite stable. You can sign up for beta versions on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.keylesspalace.tusky
So if we add a "always expand all content warnings" option to #Tusky, should it be a general option (applies to all accounts) or an account setting (can be customized for each account you are logged in with)?
We published a statement on our stance on neutrality of free software (and why we won't stay neutral in this case): https://f-droid.org/en/2019/07/16/statement.html
