We ❤️ open source. Your Tutanota client is fully published as open source software. 😍 We even built our own captcha instead of using Google's Captcha. Read here why: https://tutanota.com/blog/posts/open-source-email/
@Tutanota This was noted and appreciated. Legit cred.
It would be really good if you'd make the desktop app you developed available as click package.
@Tutanota Could you explain how this is a difficult task for a computer? Is the question, as well as the images (also for a same question), each time different? If the question is always the same as well as the same image type (only the time differs) then I would argue that this is pretty easy to break. Did I miss something?
@Tutanota While I really appreciate what you guys are doing, and am an active premium user, there is one deal breaker that might make me cancel my subscription when my first year ends: Your client isn't at all viable for mailing list discussion.
Yes, there is a switch for plain text, but that's as far as it goes. No text wrapping, format=flowed or the ability to automatically "bottom post" (put your text after the quote, rather than before)
(to be cont.)
Please either think of this use case, or simply allow IMAP/SMTP standards, and let us do the rest with our preferred clients.
@Tutanota Does the captcha work without eyes?
@Tutanota absolutely brilliant 👌
@Tutanota googles re-captcha is the cancer of the internet currently. it has to stop.
