I am starting a small project meant to create a small, cheap and secure LTE/Wifi router you can bring with you everywhere.

This router is based on a , , and probably .

The main motivation is to help people to take the control of the hardware they use.

So, if some of you wants to build an LTE/Wifi router from scratch, have a look to the introduction I wrote 0x39b.fr/post/pi_router_story/

Comments and advices are appreciated.

@U039b This sounds like a great project to get non-technical people involved in their own hardware!

What kind of power supply will you use?

@upside
😀 Thank you!!

I will use a USB power bank to power the router. The pick of power consumption is around 900mA so, I am pretty sure that this 16Ah will last at least 16 hours amazon.co.uk/TeckNet-PowerZen-

Alternatively, the router can be powered by a common smartphone charger.

@U039b Very cool. When I get some time on my hands, I'm gonna give this a go.
