My Album of the Year is probably a toss-up between the Slowdive album and this latest album from Milo: miloraps.bandcamp.com/album/wh

I spun the hell out of the last Slowdive album earlier this year, took it out of rotation for months, and now it's the best mid-Autumn companion. slowdive.bandcamp.com

Been looking forward to Far from Noise for a while! Glad to see it's finally out. georgebatch.itch.io/far-from-n

Looking very forward to Dead Cells' Brutal Update launch tomorrow. Still hoping for a port to the Switch once it gets a full release. eurogamer.net/articles/2017-11

Trying to summon the energy to make some book cloth with a little MAGIC SWORD. youtu.be/FlUEG86BAHc

The one thing Super Mario Odyssey does better than BotW is its "epilogue." I very much wanted to travel Hyrule after Calamity Ganon's defeat and check in with NPCs, even pitch in with rebuilding. That SMO lets you return to the kingdoms post-Bowser is a joy, but somewhat empty because I felt no connection with other characters. Going on even the smallest adventures with Prince Sidon or Kass post-Ganon, on the other hand, would've been a fantastic way to close BotW out.

Listen, no matter what kind of hype you hear about Doki Doki Literature Club, do not take its content warnings lightly. You should definitely take your headspace into consideration before playing.

I... Dang, I might need to take a walk or something.

omg I forgot I still had this account what up Mastodon

Tracks looks like a chill-ass time. Would love to see random toys with which to decorate the train's path added in a future version. dr-whoop.itch.io/tracks

The bird site has decided that Likes should show up in your TL just like retweets so I guess I'll hang out here again for a while.

The Internet is just okay, I guess, but it does drop a gem in my lap every once in a while. One such jewel showed up late last year when YouTube's algorithm decided I should listen to Ryo Fukui's 1976 album Scenery.

It is a Damn Fine Thing, as is this rare live set recorded right around the same time Scenery was released.

Oh wow, I picked up followers somehow. Hey folks. Hope you like jazz and bookbinding.

Hidden away in the techno-flavored remixes and sweeping re-orchestrations of OCReMix are a couple of piano jazz tracks I go back to a lot from a band called LSD.

Now I'm a sucker for a good Chrono Trigger cover, but the real stand out of these two tracks is the Castlevania III piece. Drummer Dustin Kaufman and pianist Shnabubula careen and crash through CVIII's first stage with style (and hopefully life meter) to spare.

Target's Chocolate Bunnies of the Damned display is a little rattling, I have to say.

Sure boss, I'll give this morning's interviews. Lemme just write up a few questions. mastodon.social/media/lnG_cP8o
