I started a new shawl, Skala by Melanie Berg in Drops Flora. Have to tink back quite often, but I'm pretty sure I will love the finished item! #knitting #fiberarts #mastoart #creativetoots

Last week I had coffee with someone I know from school. We we're never really close so I was a bit scared of awkward silence. It was nice however. Also she is (and was back then) about my size nd you know, to be able to just casually talk about #fatness, that's really nice. I unfortunately don't have a fat friend, instead I'm "the fat friend'. Just to have someone to "ugh" together about small seats - I don't know - cool thing!

I'm still not finished with my conference poster and uggggh. It's getting on my nerves. And it should be the "You don't have time left, so you HAVE to do it now" moment now but I'm still sooo unmotivated.

One of my #knitting projects will be featured in a book and I'll receive a free copy *happy dance*

My mum would have turned 60 today - twice my age. But next year it'll be 20 years since she's died.

@Virelai I'm usually fine once I have a "feeling" for the persons and places. Just the not knowing what to expect or what is expected of me? ugh. Once I did something I'm usually all "what were you afraid of anyway?" but yeah, that first time is always hard for me.

Finally went ahead and ordered a new sewing machine today. Have pondered over different brands and models for weeks now and I finally decided for a model.
Everyone recommends going to the shop and giving test drives but I'm a socially awkward penguin and the thought of having to interact with personnel makes me queasy...

ugh. Shared a #sewing project on Instagram and someone I personally know but don't like much posted "I need this too!!!" and than asked me in a group chat (!!!) on WhatsApp that we are both in if I could make three (!!) of those for her, in the following colors please!...
In #knitting we say someone like that isn't knitworthy - is there a related term for sewing?

Not sure how this hole got into my #knitting. Didn't look like moth damage (I sadly know how that looks) and all other items stored in the same area were fine. Was skeptical of #mending with chunky yarn like that but eh, good enough! Took me 2 month to start, 4 minutes to finish... ugh!
