Me: I think artists should be properly paid for their work, in money, not exposure. This website that is making money from arists' work and not paying them is bad. This website is doing a bad thing.
So many people: OMG WHY ARE YOU ATTACKING ARTISTS
>.> I can't even.
@viciousviscosity Yep. Swathes of people trying to ignore their guilt and justify being caught contributing to something damaging.
@WelshPixie The voice-actors I used this weekend seemed surprised to get even the pittance I can afford to pay 'em.
People ought to get at least minimum wage for their time damnit. That what "Minimum wage" means.
@WelshPixie totally agree. Not 100% sure which site you're talking about but I hate how for a new and struggling artist people think exposure == money. Sorry but exposure doesn't pay the rent
@Craighole https://coloronmag.com/design-submissions/ feast your eyes on this amazingly horrible submissions guideline, how they contribute artists, and what rights they hold over your work when you submit it.
@WelshPixie They're Facebook people. Don't waste your time, it's always the same :S
@MightyPork They are, but unfortunately, as an artist of colouring pages, I have to deal with these people regularly.
@WelshPixie
"Hey, the king's not wearing any clothes."
"That's an atrocious lie, why are you hating on the king like that?!"
