@stochastix Mastodon supports posting short video clips. I don't know the time limit but I keep mine around 10 seconds.

@Xyc0 I realized later that Mastodon automatically embeds when you paste a YouTube link, but it only embeds on the part of the toot that is fully focused in the timeline when you click into it. It doesn't seem to embed in the home list or timelines. it would be nice if it at least showed a clickable preview or something.

@Xyc0 I've seen it do that when you click on the toot and it loads on the right column, but, it doesn't seem to do anything in the Home feed, of the local and fed feeds. It just shows the link you paste.
