I say it is about time we moved beyond the, “Social shaming” model of dealing with injustice. Because it’s A) Too individualistic and B) Fails in the face of people who are shameless and see the group who is doing the shaming as invalid.

In a word of systemic injustice, social shaming feels like disingenuous bragging disguised as finger-pointing. People are fighting for their lives. Why not help them out instead of just calling the oppressors out?
