a lot of the early remarks in the Investigations take aim at the view of language that holds that statements relating to "complex" entities or idea can be analyzed into synonymous statements about the "simple" components that make up those entities. thus what one says about a broom, one *really* means about a broom handle and brush arranged in a particular way. this view is nowhere expressed as fully or completely as in his own, earier Tractatus.
So I'm sure you're all familiar with the UN projection of the Earth that puts the Arctic at the center and shows all the land, but let me present to you the inverse of that, the Spilhaus projection, which centers the map on Antarctica and shows the world's ocean as the single, continuous mass of water that it is.

Not only are you not immune to propaganda, you're already infected. So is everyone you know and respect.
When you're confronted with new information, or information that sounds counterintuitive or goes against what you think you know about the world, it's worth taking a step back and not rejecting it out-of-hand. Check your work, as always- lord knows that there's a lot of bad information out there- but be open to the idea that you've been propagandized.
