a. the style of shooting at f/1.4 to create a Cinematic Vibe is actually to blur out unnecessary details in each frame to optimise for youtube's encoding, giving more bitrate to the the details that remain
b. the style of putting a lowpass filter on drums to create a LowFi Oldskool hip hop feel is actually to optimise for MP3 encoding on souncloud, which completely ruins everything if you have anything much above 15k
