Today's lesson:

You _can_, but definitely _shouldn't_ implement a static site generator in GNU make.

I have stayed up the entire night working on a make replacement for my Bash site generator, because it does incremental builds and parallelization "for free".

And honestly, I'd rather build a site generator from scratch containing those features, than pile up hacks on top of hacks for make.

I currently have a 150 line Makefile that's at least 2x slower than the Bash implementation, and broken
