Bought an extra DDR2 2GB RAM stick to put in my old computer, ran memtest on it and got 900+ errors in 3 passes already.

Is it dead or can I work around these errors somehow? Is that much even significant? (Probably)

Update: It wasn't the RAM. Resetting the BIOS and reducing the totally unnecessary overclock (Wolfdale Pentium w/ 3GHz????) I am no longer getting any errors.
