The folks running Twitter have permanently banned the @CanadianCynic account. The Twitter account @caneshaker posted the Twitter email. This post of mine retweeting that post was wiped by Twitter immediately. mastodon.social/media/Lf5O8cHY

Huh. When you go back to check out old posts on Mastodon, the photos aren't there. Guessing this is a server by server type policy how long media is saved and I could always run my own server if I wanted to change that but that's too much work.

Hmm. Checking out Mastodon after 100 days away. Seems pretty dead, like checking out Second Life.

Don Rickles has died, age 90. He'd just celebrated his 52nd wedding anniversary in March.

Famous as one of the original insult comedians, he was a pretty decent character too.

In the WWII caper film Kelly's Heroes he has the best lines replying to an frustrated Telly Savalas:

-There's a Tiger tank blocking the bank.

-Then make a deal.

-What kind of a deal?

-A deal deal. Maybe the guy's a Republican.

Amazingly this was the 28th episode aired in a 29 episode season, a really long run by modern standards.
