I think I am the only person on here who has not played D&D or watched anime or cosplayed or scripted a bot.
But everywhere I go, I'm the odd one out. Either because I'm gay, or trans, or not nerdy, or not pierced/tattooed/blue-haired, or some combo thereof.

@afabulous I used to go to gay rights protests in a black skirt suit, heels, and pearls (and, uh, straightness). Now I just take babies to business meetings, and deliver fresh-baked home-made cookies to left-wing protests because it's hard to protest for several hours with small children but at least I can provide sugary stamina. My freak flag is boringer than most people's but I fly it anyway! 🏁

@afabulous You're not. Well technically, some friends tried to get me to play D&D once decades ago and I gave it a shot for 30 min or so. Not interested.
@afabulous I guess I've seen a little anime from it being ambient in the culture? But otherwise, nope, me neither. When I was teaching philosophy, one of my students complained to the dean that I was "too bourgeois" to teach philosophy.
