@TechConnectify Saw this on the Fedi, immediately watched it. My own method for dealing with the problem(s) you mention is: I don't subscribe, I download. It took a bit of scripting, but I have a self-curated list of UTOOBers whom I find interesting, and my script finds new posts and downloads them. In the evenings, I catch up by watching some.

I boosted and reposted the link, and have seen my (small) group of friends repost it as well.
