As a mexican, I only have one word to describe my reaction to this post: chale.

I matched way more points on that list than those I'm willing to admit.

Sad post, part 2. Please tell me I'm wrong... I really need it.

Sad post, part 1.

I recently read about Sony's digital paper and other similar products. They are almost what I wish my could be, but they are too damn expensive.

I want to believe screens (and therefore products like these) will become cheaper and better, but it's difficult to remain optimistic about it 😢

The web browser Brave is marketed as a privacy-friendly ad-free alternative, but that's pretty disingenuous.

Brave exists not to protect privacy, but to make money from selling ads.

Brave is a commercial company funded by venture capital. Its business model is selling advertising and cryptocurrency investment.

One of Brave's owners is Peter Thiel's Founders Fund. Thiel is also the head of Palantir (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palantir) and on the board of Facebook.

I do not recommend using Brave.

For reasons I don't even remember, I was scrolling through the emoji section lf my keyboard and I honestly don't understand why people make hyper specific emojis.

Like, do we need variants of a calendar emoji? Why would you even consider creating these in the first place? .__.

Just had a look through #uBlockOrigin's readme, and I love them, such a good bunch of humans.

"[...] it's important to note that using a blocker is NOT theft. Don't fall for this creepy idea. The ultimate logical consequence of `blocking = theft` is the criminalisation of the inalienable right to #privacy."

Wanted to give them money, but:

"Free. Open source. For users by users. No donations sought."

It's time for my favorite activity of the day!

NOT WORKING! 😁

Yesterday i made a small and simple as a project for .

It kind of scares me how easy it was to create it. I mean, it isn't by any means super dangerous or advanced, but I made it on one day without previous experience on the area...

Hi people! I need your :blobcat:

I own an amazon and I love it for , but I don't want amazon spying on my reading habits. I read an article saying that it somehow stops the data collection, but I haven't found any other source supporting that claim.

Do you know if it is true, or if there is any way I can make my kindle experience completely personal? Thanks in advance :underheart:

~=8 Character Passwords Are Dead=~

New benchmark from the Hashcat Team shows a 2080Ti GPU passing 100 Billion password guesses per second (NTLM hash).

This means that the entire keyspace, or every possible combination of:
- Upper
- Lower
- Number
- Symbol

...of an 8 character password can be guessed in:

~2.5 hours

(8x 2080Ti GPUs against NTLM Windows hash)
