"Happy Hour 3" - "Painted" vert. rect. in var. brown hues, w/fancy scalloped edges of cream, & orange "ink." Over those: an orange-centered sphere made of ice & red lines, w/a motion line made of 5 orange circles. All these have vivid blue rings around them. 2 smaller, faded versions of the sphere are nearby, along with the "burned" outline of a dark-haired woman and six random alphabet letters.
There must be an actual term which defines the impossibility of writing out anything that's stays truly random. The brain always wants to create a pattern, or message, even where there wasn't supposed to be one.
Like, looking at these random letters, I've almost written "Jeff Bezos is very obnoxious (or odious. Either is fine)." :D
@amylsacks Pareidolia?
@amylsacks There's also apophenia, which is probably more accurate here.
@amylsacks i do, yup. or if there's a phrase or sentence that could branch off or recurse, i'll go for that rather than the social convention or shorthand reading of the line
BTW, can't remember if I ever shared the boozy source for these orb/satellite/sphere things I like putting in all the "Happy Hour" pieces. Just in case, here it is. (Squint at the lower left corner and you'll get the idea.)
