Starting to think about the flexibility in federated social. And also the scaling challenges. It's not just your node(s) you have to worry about, it's what you're taking to/from other nodes too.
On a social level, being able to have different aspects of "me" is interesting too.
E.g., mastodon.social me: hipster "before it was big" ;-). Work.domain me: serious professional. :-| project.domain me: collaborative core
@andybold Can we have multiple accounts in one app?
@Hedgewytch you could be multiple Hedgewytch's on different servers. Not aware of any app that lets you post from whichever you choose though. Seems that, at the moment, you toot from wherever you're signed in.
Good idea though.
