Just finished some really difficult work. Marketingy text that required me to come up with some very creative solutions. It was a really nice challenge, but it was oddly annoying to not be able to knock this out in half an hour or so.
I think it’s important to quit framing Mastodon as a Twitter replacement. They both have different uses!
Mastodon’s where you go to build/find community in a decentralized space, while Twitter’s where you go to emulate the feeling of sticking your head into a boiling vat of cooking oil.
Treated myself to some lebanese food

I'm watching food shows now, so I can at least ponder what to have tomorrow.
I'm really quite annoyed about this dinner situation. I'm still feeling snacky and want something delicious, but am actually full from this mediocre dinner.
Dinner did not turn out as expected. I'm now full, but unimpressed.
Anyway, cat and I are up, did some yoga and had a quick snuggle. Now coffee and productivity!
I'm catsitting for a friend and I don't know if it's because the cat is confused about the new human, feels lonely or is annoyed I'm in "her" bed, but she's loudly meowed outside my bedroom every 2 hours or so last night. Ack.
