vim: there's more than one way to do it, i.e. the way you're doing it now, and the slightly more convenient way to do it that you'll discover by accident sometime in the next twenty years

@aparrish Emacs feels the same way. The init.el never stops growing and the learning never ceases.
@aparrish it's been nearly 30 years for me with vi/vim and I still still stumble upon stuff.
I'm pretty sure I should use more of the marks and folds, for instance.

@aparrish C-R recursive search in bash was like that for me. Though I've known it 20 years now.
