Via @mikeyil: A Twitter > Mastodon Friend-Finder (not perfect, but helped me locate several that I had missed):

Guess you can add the birdsite to the list of things millennials are killing? 💪

#introductions: It appears I've been on here since October. However, I started using it today so I suppose it's time to introduce myself!

I'm a digital #accessibility specialist with a focus on the web; much of my experience is in design and dev.

I used to run Geekadelphia and the Philly Geek Awards.

I love food, my family and friends, Philly, internet culture and Philly internet culture.

Generally, I love to be at the intersection of people and technology.

Just spit balling here, but it would be pretty cool to have an instance like or something. Represent the best damn city on this planet.

Won't lie. I'm enjoying Mastodon because it feels like a fresh breath of air compared to Twitter. Hoping that this isn't a honeymoon phase and that people start coming here. Would love to build a solid community and bring back what Twitter used to be.

Hey users out there. What's your favorite Mastodon app? I'm giving Mastalab a shot but would love your recommendations.

Don't really know what to say, but here goes!

I'm a in Philly focusing on visual design and user experience.

Big fan of video games and streaming. Most recently been on a Path of Exile, Division, and No Man's Sky binge.

Founded a community for designers known as @phldesignco. Come hang out and meet some new people in the Philly area!

Interested in sharing memes, games, and design advice. ✌️

#introduction time!

I love and live in #Philly.

I work in #publichealth and I'm also a #webdev - often working in #Django. Big on #plainlanguage and simple communication in my work. Fan of people and big picture, system-level thinking.

I also organize #tech and tech-adjacent events and work on a sweet life-charting app called Entire.Life.

Big on #books - usually reading a dozen books across genres. Give me recs! Recently started relearning #piano. Always looking for the next thing to learn.

And it's just like the ocean under the moon
Oh, it's the same as the emotion that I get from you
You got the kind of lovin' that can be so smooth, yeah
Give me your heart, make it real or else forget about it

Man, it's a hot one
Like seven inches from the midday sun
Well, I hear you whispering in the words, to melt everyone
But you stay so cool
My muñequita, my Spanish Harlem, Mona Lisa
You're my reason for reason
The step in my groove

And if you said this life ain't good enough
I would give my world to lift you up
I could change my life to better suit your mood
Because you're so smooth

Seems like this could be fun if more people I know started to transfer from twitter. Going to have to start spreading the word about it but don’t let this distract you from the fact that in 1998, The Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell In A Cell, and plummeted 16 ft through an announcer’s table.
