Realistic literature always feels like it's missing something. I mean, 'a discourse on the philosophy of abandonment' is nice, but what if it also was IN SPACE
My father once told me that respect for the truth comes close to being the basis for all morality. “Something cannot emerge from nothing,” he said. This is profound thinking if you understand how unstable “the truth” can be.

This quote feels relevant lately.
I see #introductions are a thing now so uh, hi, I'm Ian, also known as Atrus.
I'm an Italian cis dude (he/him), 37 years old, and I work in IT.
I'm a fan of Myst (#Mystodon?), Doctor Who, Babylon 5, The Secret World, and speculative fiction in general.
In my free time I take pictures and write and occasionally draw. Also I sing in my car.
Not content with being a pointless duplication of effort, http://dni.wikia.com just _straight up plagiarizes_ content from the Guild of Archivists website without attribution. Compare: https://www.guildofarchivists.org/archive/_/kadish-r240 vs. http://dni.wikia.com/wiki/Guild_Master_Kadish
This is *legitimately* infuriating. I've been doing this for 17 years now, but someone comes along and decides to put up their own copy of stuff that *I wrote* on Wikia, and Google pageranks them above me.
I'm not sure if I'll ever use this thing again but I wanted to reserve my nick.
Hello, world!
