Judging by my JP Twitter feed there's been a significant amount of artists hopping onto Mastodon and that's rad. I hope they setup some kind of instance for art.

@aurahack Why a specific instance for artists? Do they need to be on the same email server, too? Do all artists want the same moderation policy?

@aurahack I'm quite calm, thank you; just suspecting you've got an odd idea of the advantages of people being on the same instance. The only one I can see is a shared local timeline for discovery. Maybe in future there'll be other similar mechanisms.
