I want you to try to wrap your head around how some reporters, quoting Texas law enforcement, are describing the end of Title 42. D-Day. First, that's an incredibly insensitive appropriation of the loss of lives to retake the beach at Normandy. Second, correct me if I'm wrong, but this implies that US law enforcement are the Nazis who are about to get liberated by Allied troops. I doubt that anyone in this article even knows what D-Day is, but anyway. We must do better, even when we disagree.
